The Solarpod is a luxury floating villa concept consisting of 2 separated parts

A/ The villa

The villa is an oval shape structure with panoramic windows + intergrated lighting equipped with solar panels on the roof and back side. The interior design is modern, minimalist with specific attention brought on beautiful details.

2 sizes will be proposed : small size for a couple (living room, dining corner and kitchen, one bedroom, bathroom) and larger size for a family trip showing the same configuration but with 2 bedrooms.

B/ The platform/pontoon

The villa is fixed on the middle of a floating platform offering 2 large terraces : the welcome terrace and the beach terrace. A jacuzzi may be proposed as an option so as to offer maximum comfort and allow a most enjoyable stay onboard.

By integrating over 70sqm of production of solar energy, the Solarpod reduces its environmental footprint, offering a self-sustaining luxury experience. Guiu’s vision reflects a growing trend in architecture and design, where sustainability and luxury coexist, providing eco-conscious consumers with environmentally responsible yet lavish lifestyle options.

An extra large panoramic window will offer a fantastic view on the surrounding landscape. It will be equipped with sliding (up/down) electrical louvers so as to offer welcoming shade during the hottest hours of the day and total privacy at night.

On both rh & lh sides are plain and louvered terrace curved partitions.

With custom-engineered batteries and state-of-the-art systems, the Solarpod offers prolonged hours of  off grid living for several days with no fumes or vibrations.

Each section of the HDPE floating bases interconnect to form an initial 153 sqm of space, additional sections can be added during the build to form larger units, each section below the floor level is independent and provides buoyancy for the structure.

Manufacturing with a global outlook our 17m x 9m Solarpod villa range is produced in modular form thanks to our forward thinking engineering teams that have designed the range to be shipped in 3 HC containers and then assembled on site any where on the planet, Solarpod is the world’s first Solar combination and electric powered villa, entirely sustainable this 17m villa is equipped with 50kWh batteries, 70 sqm of solar and PV glass to provide enough power to be off the grid for weeks, our 40kWh H2 green hydrogen fuel cell plant as an option for range extenders provides energy along with solar to meet the everyday demands, our hulls are made from HDPE and carry a 50 year warranty, ethnically sourced materials and decking is manufactured from natural cork. Designed and now manufacturing in the United Arab Emirates and other sites planned soon to reach demand, we are leading the way for a real vision of sustainability for everyone no matter where you are.
