Solarpod Shizuka

Shizuka is a luxury floating villa concept composed of two distinct yet connected elements.

A / The Villa

The villa features an elongated capsule-shaped structure with panoramic windows and integrated lighting. Solar panels are integrated into the roof and rear surfaces, supporting sustainable operation. The interior design is modern and minimalist, with careful attention given to refined details and spatial balance.

Different layout configurations are proposed, offering a complete living space including a lounge area, low dining zone with kitchen, open studio sleeping area, and bathroom. The sleeping area is enhanced by an indoor jacuzzi positioned beside the bed, creating a calm, wellness-oriented living experience on the water.

B / The Platform

The villa is positioned at the center of a floating platform, providing two generous terraces: a welcome terrace and a beach terrace. These outdoor spaces extend the living environment and allow direct access to the water, offering comfort and an enjoyable stay onboard.

By integrating solar panels into its architecture, Shizuka reduces its environmental footprint while delivering a refined, self-sustaining luxury experience. The design reflects a contemporary approach where sustainability and comfort coexist, offering environmentally responsible living without compromising elegance.

Shizuka stands as a continuation of Agnès Guiu’s design vision, combining advanced sustainable technology with sophisticated architecture to redefine modern luxury living on the water.

Two large panoramic windows offer open views of the surrounding landscape. Providing comfortable shade during the hottest hours of the day while ensuring privacy in the evening.

On both right-hand and left-hand sides, the terraces are defined by curved partitions combining plain and louvered elements, reinforcing the villa’s fluid architectural language.

With custom-engineered batteries and advanced onboard systems, Shizuka supports extended periods of off-grid living, delivering a quiet, emission-free experience without vibrations.

The floating base is engineered to provide stability and buoyancy for the structure, supporting the full 20 × 8 m layout while ensuring balance, durability, and long-term performance on the water.

Manufacturing with a global outlook our 18m x 8m Solarpod villa range is produced in modular form thanks to our forward thinking engineering teams that have designed the range to be shipped in 3 HC containers and then assembled on site any where on the planet, Solarpod is the world’s first Solar combination and electric powered villa, entirely sustainable this 18m villa is equipped with 50kWh batteries, 70 sqm of solar and PV glass to provide enough power to be off the grid for weeks, our 40kWh H2 green hydrogen fuel cell plant as an option for range extenders provides energy along with solar to meet the everyday demands, our hulls are made from HDPE and carry a 50 year warranty, ethnically sourced materials and decking is manufactured from natural cork. Designed and now manufacturing in the United Arab Emirates and other sites planned soon to reach demand, we are leading the way for a real vision of sustainability for everyone no matter where you are.
